Rangers at the Garden

Yestrday Madison Square Garden and Rangers vs. Islanders was on the menu.

Martin and Victoria arrived from Sweden yesterday and he is a huge hockey fan/nerd so getting him to pose like this was a huge effort. For Victoria, not so much. We talked most of the game, which Martin loved.

Over there was my brother. He joined us later.

Peter has lived here for three years but this was his first vist inside the Garden. He was perplpexed by how they'd managed to get the flags up in the ceiling.

But no one knows.

Rangers won with 5-0 and after we went to Tortilla Flats where beer, Margherita, nachos and a hoola-hoop-contest complemented our menu. A splendid American evening.

Just Clouds

Although there's not a single one in sight today. They're completely fascinating. Whimsical. Just hovering there. Protecting us, hiding us, covering us, annoying us. But they don't have a trouble in sight. Just floating around. Just being different and unique without even trying. Doing they're thing. Very hard not to dream away with these beautiful puppies, stolen from this dude on Flickr.

Hope springs eternal

Hope/assume everyone has discovered this wonderful chart/diagram/etc site/blog/project/etc.

Keep act upon impulse, quit rationalize

Q: "So what's the song really about?"
A: "When we're young, we act first and think later. But as adults, we rationalize everything. Basically, the song is about capturing the innocence of youth."
- In NYLON NOV 09

Sweet disposition
Never too soon
Oh, reckless abandon
Like no one's watching you

A moment, a love
A dream aloud
A kiss, a cry
Our rights, our wrongs
A moment, a love
A dream aloud
A moment, a love
A dream aloud

So stay there
Because I'll be coming over
And while our blood's still young
It's so young
It runs
And we won't stop until it's over
Won't stop to surrender

Songs of desperation
I played them for you
A moment, a love
A dream aloud
A kiss, a cry
Our rights, our wrongs
A moment, a love
A dream, aloud
A moment, a love
A dream aloud

I'm slaying this song. Totally fucking murdering it.

Again and again and again and again and again. Always different versions though. This is just one of them (but I do prefer live versions). I'm amazed by it. Intoxicated by the little Mexican/Asian dudes singing. Makes me dream different dreams every time too. We love that.

Super so nice footage, song + everything about it

Thank you pumpkin cake lovely Bella. Hope India is hot hot hot.

NEW BIKE!!!

Tagged along Gui to the bike shop.

Noticed this puppy the exact same moment recession hit my pockets.

He's called krokodil III, both in honor to my first own puppy (a great dane, athos molgan krokodil III) and to the greatest animal in the history of all time.

We love each other.

That's it!

All we ever needed without knowing it. The Japanese have already created it.

Have we all visited the Museum Of Power yet?

Well, have we? Or is it your first visit?

Someone nicked my never worn before sunglasses at TopMan yesterday :(

They were white (hence my hesitation of not wearing them before). But they were kinda cool. You know, hey I'm wearing white sunglasses, cool way.
But now they're gone. I put them on the rack to try on another shirt I didn't need and someone must have stolen them. Either that or a clerk thought it was the store's and then put them up for sale.
So now someone could potentially be walking around with my white $5 sunglasses, which he probably bought for a good $40, acting like he's all that.
And I will neither wear them or really miss them again.
