Terminology

In the field of work I’m in you bump into countless of terminology on a very frequent basis. Especially writing for and in English since they seem to be overly enthused by all the abbreviations man can find.

"Why call it what it is, let’s shorten it!"

They cry. And they do. A lot. Which is fine. Many people I’ve encountered in my short career use them too, and in some extents, moi too. Only sometimes, it just becomes abundant as most people just use it to show off. Meta terms here and bla-bla-bla terms there. Reason I am hesitant to them is the simply cause I don’t know all of them but I act as I do.

“Mmm you don’t say, ah, meta-behavior. Mm. Of course.”
