Donkey parallel parking

Like any good Mexican this guy has trained his donkey how to, what we like to call in Sweden, 'pocket-park'.

The Three Sarah Palin Moon Shirt

Blog By Bekett celebrates 4000 visitors!

Hooray to us!

We sure had one helluva peak then we went back to normal.

Happiness is what we all want

A want is a lack but also desire

A need can be nothing but should be held higher
A need is a want wearing disguise
It can be confused if fuelled by desire

Thieves in the night is still (?) one of 2010's best songs.

Yeah you go get him boy!

Oh Dimitrij was a girl.

Dang!... too bad

So close yet so far away is an expression always used at moments like this. Because a cliche is a cliche cause it's true. We love cliche's btw.

THAT is how you build a snowman

Two week rule

Matt Damon has a two weeks rule when filming. He's promised not to stay away from his family for more than two weeks in a row. It's usually fine, worked perfectly for True Grit, but conflict emerged as he was shooting Invictus. He needed to be on Robben Island for a month. So he arranged so that his oldest daughter's school class and all their parents could fly to South Africa during.

That is wither one hell of an awwww, or a one big contemplation about how some people have a lot of money on their pockets.

Genius indeed

Who would have thought that the simplest ideas that are easiest to execute are the funniest. (Irony dipshit).

Alert!

Or at least a notification from the author. I'm still on legit vacation in dark, cold, snowy Sweden. Hence the poor updates here. But more internet-joy will come. Oh, it will come. Come back is scheduled for Monday January 10th.

I'm having a really good time though.

I couldn't love this man more than I'd love my own kid

Exaggeration or truth to that has nothing to do with the essence of what I just said. I just love him. Humble and kind. He admits and acknowledges his mistakes and wants to get back on the road (no pun intended). Please someone, anyone, this is your Gold Hollywood Story. You can make it.

Don't get much cuter than this

Sooo 2011 is starting off very soft. Who'd figured?

Mr. Pete Postlethwaite

"An odd-looking but quite fascinating bloke with prominent, bony cheeks and a rawboned figure, distinguished character"

Those are the first words that comes up on imdb about this distinguished gentleman and fine, fine actor. Never considered myself a huge fan of his, i.e. I never rushed to go see on of his films nor did I search whenever he was releasing a new one (not your Tom Cruise, so to speak). It was more that he always seemed to be in really fantastic movies.

And he was a very fascinating bloke. My most dominant memories of him are from Brassed Off, Romeo + Juliet (GHA!), The Usual Suspects (Kobayashi!) and more recently Inception and of course, The Town.

He sure as hell was odd looking bloke, the same way Steve Buscemi is an odd looking but fascinating man. They are far apart as persons, characters they played and guess they don't have much more in common than their profession. But whatever they do, they do it good. (Very, very odd slip into Steve, I know, but I'll just keep it there anyway).

Pete died today at the age of 64. And even though you might not instantly miss him from the big screen, you will remember his great performances from the smaller parts he did that will never be forgotten. Pete, I will actually miss you.

Zombie or Supermodel

It's not always evident. Here's a link if you wanna read more about this spectacle.

The lack of posts are simply cause I haven't been online. At all. Well, barely. But that is almost the same.
