Watching Elf on TV, the perhaps most cheerful movie ever made. It is so infectious and totally out of standard optimistic that I also think it might be one of the most important movies ever made.
Where we shouldn’t take it as a literal approach to life perhaps (candy cane, sugar, syrup, etc) – we should definitely take it as our main inspiration towards life. Everyone should always enjoy/add a little bit more cheer/heart, and approach all situations with a little bit more naivety on a more regular basis. Starting this Christmas. God it's perfect. Plus it has Zooey Deschanel. And the world's funniest film scene: "Buddy the Elf what's your favorite color?".
That's it - Elf wins.
