Absolutely lost in Tokyo

Arrived an hour ago and it's nice that your fear of feeling absolutely lost is confirmed. Discovered a crazy toy store around the corner and from the window in my cubicle to room you can see the Tokyo Dome. I have obviously no idea what it is.
But it’s big and bright, colorful neon signs and flashing lights surround it and very hip Japanese arrive in numbers.

I think I will enjoy Tokyo after all.

The more I read about Toyko and see pictures the more I want to go there. It looks to me like it's a brighter and more surreal version of New York. Until I travel there myself, I am jealous. Oh, really cool banner by the way.

it feels like a walking in a fairy-tale. a very surreal one designed by elves on speed. entering Mtoya!! is perhaps the weirdest experience I've encountered. thus far, of course - today is another brilliant day full of new experiences around the corner. I expect it to be very insane.
