Tokyo

Flying Saturday and am super excited.
But the closer I get to departure; it has struck me how little (nothing) I actually know about this 30 million city.
For example: when I went to New York for the first time I could at least relate to the too many movies I’ve seen. Bronx, the Brooklyn Bridge, up Broadway, down Lower East, corner of 53rd and Madison, Manhattan in general and all the homicides and pancakes in particular.
I’ve basically experienced it all in my mind before and now I just made my physical appearance on the scene.
Drinking booze from a paper bag in Central Park made you feel like you’ve been away for a long, long time, finally coming home.
Well. I don’t even know if Tokyo has a park.
