Gwon Osang

I'm ripping off Jon like a motherfucker.

These sculptures by Korean artist Gwon Osang are made from hundreds of photographs of the original subjects, overlayed onto life-sized mannequins to create an effect which is both realistic and surreal at the same time.

Vasyugan - The Biggest Swamp In The World - is quite beautiful

"This is the biggest swamp in the world. Its area is 20% wider than the area of Switzerland and makes up 53 thousand square kilometers. As scientists believe it sprang up 10 000 years ago and since then it is inexorably growing. It reminds motion of deserts.
On the territory of the swamp are more than 800 lakes, great number of rivers and streams begin here. And the amount of peat located in this swamp is just enormous - about 2% of the world resource!"

"This is a place absolutely empty of people, strewed with cranberries, cloudberries and bog bilberries. Animals and birds live here absolutely free, fearing nobody and nothing. The big Vasyugan swamp is a nature phenomenon that does not have any analogs in the world."

"The major function of the swamp is the atmosphere purification, that is why here it is called a giant natural filter. The moor pit absorbs toxic substances preventing carbon dioxide effect."

I think it's in Russia, but check for yourself.

Just as Lost

Everything ends.
And you have to let go.
This is just also beautiful, agree with the dude who sent it, "this soundtrack is the new requiem for a dream soundtrack. coming to a trailer near you." We should always listen to more soundtracks.

Two laps

That was all that was needed. I was completely spent after it. Jisus christ. All this running have surely not made my arms stronger. But I managed to stay afloat. Just.

Casually smiled at my other two opponents/swim-buds. Two chicks. I even left my swim-hat on the side on purpose, cause I didn't want to make the impression of me being super-good. I know I must look like a friggin' stealth missile piercing through the water when I'm geared up. Both severely heavy on the brink of obese and of course both were much, much better than me. It was the top of the ice berg of Wednesday humiliation.

But I persisted. Splashed myself through the chlorine-heavy water. Adjusted my googles as accustomed after every-other lap, and tried to avoid to directly hit the bottom as I'm still learning how to turn properly. It's the least of my worries though, as I persuade myself to belive that no one sees me while I'm doing it. Hence I'm under the surface.

Lé truth.

I've had this draft typed in my mobile for a while, "Even ugly ass chicks get laid once in a while. Ugly ass dudes, not so much." It's just been lying there waiting to be tweeted or something. Now with the brilliant Indexed, it felt like the perfect time.

Peter and Ashley had a moving in partay

Beautiful Ashley and Peter have got themselves and amazing new apartment and decided to throw a little partay to celebrate it.

Lé gang

Peter showed us their pet turtle. It was by far the weirdest/saddest thing. Lived in a tiny jar of stones and water [bottom right at this pic]. Peter fed it a tiny crunch of a pretzel and that was its highlight of the day/week/life.

So jealous at their loft. Loooove it

Ashley and Olivia

Ashley + bla bla bla

Kimmen & Olivia

Johan, Gwen and Eli

Super swelli fun. Oui. Unfortunately we're all dead today cause of it. Dead. Well, that party and the nights before that.

This looks like the most interesting movie of all times

I love General Cosgrove

Got this in an email:

Major General Peter Cosgrove

"
General Cosgrove was interviewed on the radio recently.

Read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this!

This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of an ABC radio interview between a female broadcaster and General Cosgrove who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military Headquarters.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
So, General Cosgrove, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?

GENERAL COSGROVE:
We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?

GENERAL COSGROVE:
I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?

GENERAL COSGROVE:
I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
But you're equipping them to become violent killers.

GENERAL COSGROVE:
Well, Ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?

The radio cast went silent for 46 seconds and when it returned, the interview was over.

Stereoscopy

Stereoscopy (also called stereoscopic or 3-D imaging) is any technique capable of recording three-dimensional visual information or creating the illusion of depth in an image.

UPDATE: So this didn't really work...... The images are supposed to move and shit. Create a cool depth-effect. Found it on Buzz - and I don't know how to link to it. Buzzzzzzzzzzz
