Well it's not fucking the jury of the Golden Globe Awards I tell you that. Seriously can we all have a later debate about their selections for this joke of a category "Best Film Comedy/Musical" (used to be good- The Hangover! but now demolished to complete nonsense) this angry's me.

• Alice in Wonderland
• Burlesque
• The Kids are All Right
• Red
• The Tourist

Seriously? Really? Haven't seen them - but I know (trust me on this one) that no one of these deserves the honor. Maybe (very likely though) The Kids are All Right is actually a very good movie. But it wouldn't have felt so powerful if I hadn't slammed all five. Red? WTF.

Side note bigass clarification: We love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, but we also know when they've created great work (Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, etc) or just crap. Sell out crap.


Side note clarification numero DUE: Besides no one really likes to watch a musical movei. YES. There is a difference between amazingness like Dirty Dancing and Moulin Rouge; great music with a lot of songs and music, and musical crap. No one likes the latter. Don't ever confuse the two.
