It will be an epic night tonight. The third time Zlatan returns to the former club he recently left. First time with Juventus at Amsterdam Arena and Ajax. Second time with Inter at Del Alpi against Juventus. And tonight, with all eyes targeted towards him and the desire to witness the undeclared clash/challenge/show off between Eto’o and him. Which brings us to perhaps the one that wants to prove something tonight more than anyone.
The revenge of Eto’o – surely he’ll want to show Pep at his new home how outrageously mistaken he was when he chose Zlatan above him. Both have succeeding in their new clubs with goals as testimony and starting to earn the praise and love of their respective former fans. Only one will meet his former worshipers tonight, the ones that have promised to ignore him, his presence and performance and give him the silencio treatment. Pretty sure that won’t happen/work. More curious about possible goal-celebrations when scoring. GHA! I can’t wait.
