#FF
I received my very first Follow Friday on Twitter yesterday (and before long more people re-tweeted that #FF; consequently making me feel popular). #FF is the tweeting way of saying that you’re worthy of following. I now feel part of the club (and this is worthy of a modest hurrah! I believe: hurrah!).
Twitter is very funny btw, very much too often it’s misused in order to sell-sell-sell, which is clearly not the purpose but rather keep it as an open stream of interesting, funny, essential, vital and inane news/stories/updates/feeds/whatever. Too many companies also take this way too literal and simply follow people they shouldn’t.
Like Apple. Now, we love Apple, but when I tweet that 'putting on the alcoholic-fueled hand-disinfection-gel and then eating an apple wasn’t such a clever thing' and they immediately follow you - you instantly – although – momentarily – question their genius.

Big Live
CLICK and check out the Big Live (blog) site comin' up soon. Watch concerts --- online. Will it work? No one knows. But we embrace all kind of efforts that entitles us to avoid sweaty, jam-packed crowds of, mostly ugly people, and staying in bed all day here at By: Beckett. Besides, even if you don't like concerts or music; it's a very cute site.

"Bronzato - Barack Obama!"
Makes you think. How does Ronaldinho, Seedorf, and the other, by the tongue of Berlusconi, "bronzato" players of AC Milan think?

Thourough investigation
The Swedish Police Force has comprehended a group of suspects for the Helicopter Robbery. They are all charged on a range number of extremely serious accusations:
• Owes 1050kr (€90) in Student Loans to CSN.
• Connections to Turkey.
• Vague or no connections to Fittja Boys (the notorious kids-gang that rascalled around Stockholm in the 80's and 90's; breaking glass and drinking beer - despite being minors).
• Barely can be connected to each other or the one person who seems least likely of accusations.
• Owns a non-functional gun.
• Vague or non connection to G4S Security (the robbed company).
• Is acquainted to a person in Yugoslavia.
• Remotely connected to Serbia.
• Stole a jewelery at a party in 2000 that he later returned.
• Have unconfirmed connections to other non-convicted (i.e. potentially falsely-accused) criminals.
• According to the prosecution: a person who used to steal jeans and tagged graffiti.
• Have no taxed income.
• Have no criminal record.

Kubrick's storyboard + notes from The Shining
"DSC00005 Storyboard from The Shining, Kubrick Archive by globalNix.
The Barbican Arts Centre recently held a Stanley Kubrick retrospective. The foyer of Cinema 1 displayed some treasures from the Kubrick Archive. This storyboard depicts a long shot exterior of The Overlook Hotel. Note Kubrick's very specific notes:"
"IGNORE WHAT LOOKS LIKE
A CENTRAL PATH JUST HAVE
THE SNOW SMOOTHLY AND
ROUNDLY CHANGE ITS DIRECTION
UP THE SLOPE AT ABOUT THE
POSITION OF WHAT IS
DRAWN AS A CENTRAL PATH
THE FRAME IS EXAXCTLY 1-1:85
Obviously you compose for that
but protect the full 1-1:33 area.
In order to accurately get the
central path curve, you have to
set up the shots and put stakes
in the ground so that the curve
as seen through the ground
glass corresponds to what is
drawn. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY
TO DO IT REPEAT NO OTHER
WAY exercise the greatest
care as the compositional
effect of a different path might
be BAD BAD BAD
MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T
WIND UP LOOKING LIKE
A SNOW PLOW DID IT
After you push the snow around
the wind and fresh snow fall
should keep it from looking plowed"

What would Riggs and Murtaugh have done?
The stunning and impressively performed “Helicopter-robbery” in Stockholm is still clustering the news. The police job done at the scene (they hid behind a car and watched the chopper drop them off, blow up the vault, steal the money and fly off. For 25 minutes) is still under severe WTF-treatment and it only makes you wonder if, for example, Riggs and Murtaugh would have remained behind the car and just calmly watched.

Just signed up!!
Missed Stockholm Marathon (was in New York) and Lidingöloppet (no excuses) but retaliates those missed races by the signing on to the notorious Hässelbyloppet. 10k flat. You feel the energy pumping? See the flopping bellies? Hear the exhausted breaths? That’ll be the 40-year olds and me trying to make it round the course.

The Invisible Boards
Just to add/end and get a closure of my sudden-Friday Spike Jonze obsession here is the magical invisible boards. Just like Heaven the music is ravishing. But who is it? No one knows, sadly the comments on YoutTube lead me... not to the right destination.

"Let's go out - it'll be fun"
With the words still echoing in my head I am trying to type these words. Mostly tired, not that hangover actually. Would kill to stay in bed all day and especially all evening. Instead, the infamous Das Boot Part. Four hours of unlimited alcohol on a boat for four hours. Oh, I have absolutely no idea what I'm trying to convey. So I'll stop.

Getting better
Despite the fact that I look like an young 90-year old man when I am out running things are getting better. Exceedingly better. Can almost run downhill without looking like a toad in the face and sometimes when I think about it I don’t think about my lumbago. Two days until the Lidingöloppet, unfortunately I don’t think the back will be good enough for a 30k terrain race. But you never know, crazier things have happened. Issue #2 is the fact I will be slightly drunk for two consecutive days now prior to the race. Usually not a good preparation, lumbago or not.
